Privacy Notice

CROOWDIO has not launched yet. The only personal data this site collects is what you give us when you register for early access, and the only thing we do with it is tell you when the first collection arrives.

This notice describes that in full. It is written to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), under which you are the Data Principal and we are the Data Fiduciary.

What we collect

When you submit the early-access form, we store:

• Your name — so we can address you properly.
• Your email address — the only channel we use to reach you.
• Your mobile number — optional. Leave it blank and the form still works; we ask only so we can reach you if email fails at launch.
• Your IP address and browser user-agent — recorded at the moment of submission, for one purpose: investigating automated or fraudulent signups. We do not use them to profile you, build an audience, or infer your location for marketing.
• Timestamps — when you registered, when you confirmed, and when we last emailed you.

That is the complete list. We do not collect payment details, date of birth, gender, address, or anything else, because nothing we do before launch needs them.

Why we collect it

To notify you about the CROOWDIO launch and the first collection, and to give registered members priority access to it. Nothing else. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences on any platform.

Your consent, and taking it back

We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form. That consent is confirmed by email: we send you a link, and until you click it we do not treat you as subscribed. This is deliberate — it means nobody can add your address to our list but you.

You can withdraw consent at any time, and it must be as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to hello@croowdio.com. Withdrawal takes effect on receipt and we delete your record rather than merely flagging it.

How long we keep it

Until you withdraw consent, or twenty-four months after the launch it was collected for — whichever comes first. After that the record is deleted. If you never confirm your email, we delete the unconfirmed record within ninety days.

Who else sees it

Only processors we need in order to operate, each bound to use the data solely on our instructions:

• Our email delivery provider, to send the confirmation and launch emails.
• Our hosting and network provider, which serves this site and filters automated traffic.

We do not disclose personal data to anyone else except where the law requires it of us.

Where it is stored, and how it is protected

Registrations are held in an access-controlled database that is not reachable from the public internet. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Administrative access is individually credentialed, and passwords are stored using Argon2id — a function designed so that stolen password data stays useless.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party tracking pixels. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has registered, write to us and we will delete the record.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may:

• Ask what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it.
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed.
• Have your data erased.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you cannot.
• Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we fail you.

Write to hello@croowdio.com and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge.

Who we are

CROOWDIO. Our registered entity details and named Grievance Officer will be published here before the collection goes on sale; until then every request and complaint reaches a person at hello@croowdio.com and is handled to the timelines set out above.

Changes

If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on the list, we will tell you by email rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
